Math Olympiads for Elementary & Middle School (MOEMS)- Math problem solving contests for teams of up to 35 students in grades 4-8
WPI Invitational Math Meet - Schools can send a team of four students, accompanied by a faculty advisor to the meet. Students have the opportunity to win scholarship money towards WPI. (Fall)

Botball - An educational team-oriented Robotics program for middle and high school students.
Science
Project Glacier - Global Change Initiative Education and Research (Glacier) is a Boston University GK12 program, for grades 5-8, partnering graduate fellows with classroom teachers.
Physic Labs for High School Students - Boston University offers a variety of physic labs for high school students for groups of up to 24 students. Programs begin at 9am and end at 1pm. Past programs (e/m Ration, Collisions, Projectile Motion, Faraday's Law)
Water Rocket Competition - Water Rocket Competition for schools in Worcester County, K- College. (Last held in June)
Technology
Code Jam - Programming competition (spring)
Google Code-In - A contest introducing students, ages 13 - 17, to open source software (fall)
STEM
Destination Imagination - This program is compliant and focuses on STEM and Arts education while teaching kids how to work in teams
Lemels-MIT InvenTeams - high school students that receive up to $10,000 to invent technological solutions to real-world problems of their own choosing
Lemelson-MIT JVInvenTeams - Students, in grades 7-10, hone their hands-on skills and enrich their STEM education through invention-based design activities.

Harvard University John A. Paulson School of Engineering and Applied Sciences (SEAS) - School visits and Lab Tours
MIT Edgerton Center - Academic Field trips, limited to 24 students, available for the K-12 community (though focus is grades 4-8). Choose from topics include Biology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optics and Photography.
The Center for STEM Education at Northeastern University - Field trips for grades 4-9, max 60 students per trip, from 9am - 2pm
