To keep up on STEM Happenings throughout New England follow: STEM Advocates at www.mySTEMresource.com and on Facebook and Twitter @STEMAdvocates As you may have noticed, I have been pulled away from STEM Advocates for much of the time over the last nine months. I appreciate your patience as I helped care for a family member with metastatic cancer. Our world was thrown into a tailspin and as one of her caregivers, living an hour away, it had been very challenging. I found myself torn between taking care of my family and keeping up with my work. STEM Advocates needed to be put on the back burner while my priority was focused on caring for my family. Unfortunately, my loved one recently lost her battle with cancer.
Over the next few weeks, I hope to have a flurry of activity to catch you up on STEM opportunities that are coming up in the future. If you, my readers, know of any activities that aren't posted on the Calendar of Events please feel free to reach out to me by filling out the contact form on the website www.mySTEMresource.com and I can add include them. Thank you for your patience. AuthorWelcome! I'm Debbi and I'm so glad you're here! As a mom of two boys I found it difficult to find resources on STEM programs for my kids. I spent hours researching which resulted in my kids having some amazing STEM opportunities. I want to share information with other families. I try to focus on free or low-cost events so that opportunities are available to children no matter their family's income level. Archives
